Package conducted tours can be an excellent value option for your client's trip.

Package conducted tours are great ways for travel agents to make money and can be a dollar saver.

Let me explain what a "Tour" is. Travel agents have a different definition of it than customers. A tour is "any combination of travel products that can be booked as one product".(You can pull together separate parts and book them as one package.)

One really great thing about a tour package is the customer can receive three parts of a vacation (air, hotel and car) and pay less for them than if they purchased them separately.

Guess what? Your commission will be bigger too!

Here's a travel tip. Book a tour and package for yourself whether you are a travel agent or not. See the savings.

A word of caution. Tour packages are limited domestically unless you are booking to large cities(New York, New Orleans, L.A. etc.) The good news is they are plentiful overseas.

Large and small operators including all-inclusive operators will provide you with separate entities if the customer desires.

Look at a tour and package combo as a WIN/WIN situation for your customer and yourself.
