Seven tips to organize your desk

Here are seven tips to organize your desk.

1. Set aside blocks of time to take care of this chore.(Half hour. 1 hour. Whatever your choice is.) This is just for this responsibility.

2. Keep a garbage can , pen, file folders, labels and other organizational aids that apply to the situation.

3.Clear out the space you want cleaned. Then put all the excess paper in a pile.

4.Decide which things are relevant. You keep those and throw out as much as possible.

5. It may seem like too much for you to do. Be persistent! Stick with your plan!

6. Ask for help (from your spouse, child, friend, secretary. Someone who is able to help you move forward.

7.Organization is a skill that can be learned. Like any habit,(a bad habit CAN be broken.) You have to want to deal with the immediate pain in order to have the lasting benefits.
