A new agent can work with a host travel agency to learn the business

A host travel agency can be invaluable tool for newbies to the travel field.

These companies can help a beginner, learn how to be a good home based agent.

You may want to have someone walk you through transactions. Affiliate yourself with someone who carries the credentials of(IATAN,ARC, CLIA) that suppliers want you to have.

If you are looking for teaching, direction and more involvement you may want to connect with a large company. You may have to pay fees (upfront or monthly) depending on the agency. That's something you will have to do your due diligence on.(we'll give you a couple websites you can check out that may help you better understand what a they are and where you can find them.)

If you are more confident in your own skills, knowledge and don't need much hand holding. A smaller company may be rightfor you. Some of these agencies charge no fees.
