Here are some cruise tips that will help your customer understand what is and isn't included in the basic fare.

Here are some cruise tips that will help your customer understand what is and isn't included in the basic fare.

When my wife Mary and I took a cruise a few years back to the Bahamas on Premier ship, we thought everything would be included.

To our surprise, we found out lunch would not be included. If this was an all inclusive experience, wasn't everything suppose to be included?

Anyway, this is when your customer should know what they will or won't be getting when they purchase a cruise package.

The dip in prices because of the financial climate have people thinking a cruise can be in their present.

More and more cruise lines have devised creative ways to entice passengers to spend additional money once on board the ship of their dreams.

"While a cruise is nearly all-inclusive with accomadations, dining, entertainment and taxes covered in the ticket price, there are add-on expenses to consider. Airfare, tips, shore excursions, travel insurance, passports, visas and even bottled water can increase the bottom line. to get the true picture of what you can expect to budget for your floating fantasy, you should factor in those extras."

At the very beginning of the cruise, passengers are required to show their credit card or cash deposit to pay for their expense at the beginning of their experience.

Keep your receipts in case of any surprises. Request a temporary printout of the bill from the purser to insure accuracy.

The ship charges their on board expenditures to an account. Everything but casino-gaming but a "cash advance" can be charged agaisnt your account from the casino cashier.
