Patience is the key to overcoming a slow start with your business.

Patience is the key to avoid overeacting when your business gets off to a slow start. It is also the key to keep you from spending all your money on purchases you don't need yet.

Usually when people begin a new venture(or for that matter anything,)they tend to rush through things.

Like myself, I went out and bought $500 worth of Ad Packs when I first joined Amway.

I gave out maybe 2 of them.

There was a time I bought 2 boxes of business cards for a venture I had joined and was left with 1 1/2 boxes because I only gave a few out.

Matter of fact, I still have those boxes sitting in my closet.

I was like a wild horse who was let loose and bucking everywhere.

You might know someone like that or it maybe you are the one acting like that.

Slow down. Relax and take things one step at a time.

If you are going to be running your own business in the beginning,it may be on a part time basis.(That's how most people start.)

Don't refurnish the basement or clear out the attic and create a office for yourself.

You don't need a room for your office.

Your "travel agency" can easily consist of a supply of business cards,an address book or roledex and a telephone.(With answering machine.)

There you have it! Your home office.

In time as your venture grows, you will add things. Make sure it makes sense and the time is right to do it.

Lastly, have patience with how fast(or slow)the venture grows.

It takes 1 brick at a time to build a successful business.

Take your time but be persistent!

God Bless!!!
